hi i am having some trouble with the electrics on my sons smx 50 when the bike is running (no battery)the lights are dull but when i touch the brakes front or back leaver the lights come bright .and has any one got a manual to sell for this bike

Hi. I would suggest that this is probably an earth fault. Try tracing the path from the earth wire on the lighting circuit back to earth (eg ultimately the bike's frame).

A quick check of the main earth connection on the frame could reveal something too.

there is no battery on the bike it is run off a magneato so the only earths are in the loom but cheers anyway
